Description
Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling and guidance, social work, psychology or any other related field. Three (3) years successful experience as a school counselor, clinical psychologist, social worker, rehabilitation counselor or any other fullptime counselor who has demonstrated professional expertise in helping clients (individuals and families) in changing behavior and attitudes. Must hold a valid Clinical license.
It is preferred that a candidate for this position have experience working with students, and their guardians, in dispensation of intervention programming and school discipline. It is also preferred that a candidate for this position have knowledge of School Board Policies, as well as state and federal statutes, relative to dispensation of school discipline and intervention among all students.
