Instructional Teacher:
Starting Salary
  • $50,000 annually (additional supplemental income may be available across various locations).

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Holds a Florida Department of Education Certification in Speech Correction or is eligible for a Florida Department of Education Certification in Speech Language Impaired or holds a Florida Licensure for Speech Language Pathology.
  • Optional: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Fosters student achievement and development.
  • Identifies and diagnoses children with speech and language impairments.
  • Provides speech and language services to eligible students.
  • Works within cooperation with the instructional team and/or department chair in the education process.
  • Collaborates with and assists teachers in the provision of interventions for language/literacy.
  • Communicates regularly with parents, administrators, and educational supports.
