Position Purpose: To promote student success and teachers' support as it relates to all aspects of student assessment and systems of support in order to fuel student growth and remain compliant with state mandates and charter goals.
Compensation: Teacher Salary Scale, 37.5 hours per week, 12 month contract
Description of Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Directors of Academics for all regions, develops testing schedules for all campuses, attends assessment director meetings at the state level and disseminates information to school administration. Performs school duties in support of the assessment process, including directly administering state mandated and school required assessments and training school staff and proctors on requirements of proctoring and ethics. Serves as a lead for Spectrum’s strategic data inquiry cycles and assists teachers in implementing , including progress monitoring, formative, and summative assessments. Compile all assessment results, including social skills and sensory processing data, in graphical representation of student progress per grade, per campus, for purposes of reporting to the Executive Director of Academics and the Board of Directors. Leads the initiative to develop standards-based progress monitoring assessments for grades K-12. Oversees all aspects of implementing the school’s MTSS policies and procedures. Adheres to and supports board policy, school guidelines, and administrative rules and directives. Maintains accurate records and documentation according to records retention policy. Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding assessment and MTSS. Participates in in-service activities and staff meetings promoted by the school. Performs other duties as assigned by the Academic Directors for all regions.
