Qualifications: An earned master's degree from an accredited institution; hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Teacher's Certificate in a core curriculum area and have three (3) years job related experienced OR an earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Teacher's Certificate in a core curriculum area and have five (5) years job related experience.
Expertise in school-based planning, implementation, and support of the Best Practices In Inclusive Education Assessment Protocols. Proficient in data analysis that facilitates district-wide planning and problem-solving to support best practices for inclusion. Experience in creating and delivering research-based professional learning in the categories of collaborative teaching, inclusive scheduling, and instructional planning. Skilled in facilitating district and school-based capacity building that promotes data-based decision making, needs assessment and student-centered scheduling practices.
Must also document evidence of learning gains in students achievement through a history of improved standard performance metrics such as FCAT, standardized test scores, adequate yearly progress for identified subgroups, or other recognized academic performance measures.
