POSITION:  SSubstitute Teachers Wanted for all levels,  preschool-high school– Weld Re-8 School District, (4 schools in Fort Lupton and 1 in Dacono) Positions are on call/as needed. 
 
SALARY:    - Payment for  "One Year" authorization to substitute starts at $90 per day  - One year applicant must hold a high school diploma or its equivalient (must be                           approved with the substitute authorization by the Supt of Schools).  Apply for authorization at CDE licensing website (see link below).

                   - Payment for "Three Year" authorization starts at $100 per day -  Available if you hold a BA in any field.  Apply for authorization at CDE licensing website                        (see link below).

                   - Payment for "Five Year/Professional" authorization starts at $120 per day.  Available for licensed teachers (must hold a valid CO teacher license)

                  - Payment for Long Term substitute starts at $130 per day.  Currently a first grade position is available from approx late September through Thanksgiving at                            Twombly Elementary School.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: 
  • Desire to teach (following regular teacher's lesson plans), model, encourage and manage students in a  classroom setting while working at the Elem-Middle-High School teaching levels (you may specify preferences)
  • "One Year" authorization to substitute must hold a high school diploma or its equivalient desirable
  • "Three Year" authorization substitute teacher is desirable 
  • "Five Year/Professional" substitute teacher is desirable
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
  • Teaching experience preferred or the desire to learn in a fast paced engaging school environment
  • Resume listing previous work experiences or successful evidence of working with students 
  • Evident of successful working experience with school age children required – must like students and enjoy being involved in an engaging school environment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
