Special Education Tutor

Layton Christian Academy is a pre K-12th grade private Christian school and a ministry of Christian Life Center. Located approximately 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Layton Christian Academy is in a prime location to be accessible to students from neighboring cities, as well as Hill Air Force Base. With some 45+ countries represented, Layton Christian Academy has a diverse population of students, primarily in the high school (grades 9-12). Layton Christian Academy’s elementary school provides its students with the foundation they need to build upon to grow in all core subject areas, as well as in special areas, such as music, foreign language and technology. The Layton Christian Academy Resource Department is responsible for working with students who are on either a Private School Services Plan or Individualized Education Plan to address their respective goals and help them to be successful in their general education environment. As an LCA tutor you are responsible for working 1-2:1 with students to address their IEP/PSSP goals and needs in reading, writing and math.
