JOB TITLE:                     Ram TV/Athletics Social Media

SUMMARY: Works with the athletic director and video production coordinator to produce social media content and live streaming events. This includes but is not limited to creating graphics, posting in-game updates, final scores, and athletic events; along with pregame set up, in game production and post game tear down. The job also includes communicating with the athletic department to support athletic department sponsorships. This team member will cooperate with the athletic department staff in maintaining a relationship with Owasso head coaches to post updates concerning their schedules and events.

  1. Clear communication via all Owasso Athletic social media platforms

  2. Must be able to attend: all varsity football games (home and away); varsity basketball games (home); and various other sporting events

  3. Assists with special projects

  4. All other duties as assigned by the administrator

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

  2. Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate (preferred)

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Computer literate; excellent written and oral communication ability; strong knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and laws applicable to education and special education; expertise in Oklahoma State Department of Education regulations related to curriculum and instruction.  Ability to follow all district policies and procedures.  Ability to work independently, displaying initiative and enthusiasm for the tasks being done.  Demonstrating strong communication skills, orally and in writing, with faculty, staff, team members, and administrators.  Ability to work without supervision, and work as a team player.  Ability to document records accurately.  Ability to manage confidential information in a manner that respects students, families, and employees.  Ability to listen effectively.  

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English language.  Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data, define problems, and draw valid conclusions

 

REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 

 

LICENSES and REGISTRATIONS:  Current driver’s license in good standing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit at a desk or in meetings for long periods; using keyboarding skills, working on a computer for long periods.  Long hours and evening activities are required.  Must be able to lift, move, and/or manipulate objects and equipment up to 40 pounds.

Work is performed in a typical office environment as well as at sites throughout the district.
