Student Services Support Specialist Wanted
Miami-Dade County Public Schools has received a new grant-funded position titled Student Services Support Specialist and will begin interviewing potential candidates immediately. The Student Services Support Specialist is a full-time counseling position with the intent to expand counseling services at schools. The Student Services Support Specialist is a member of the school’s student services team which is responsible for assisting learners in developing their potential to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The Student Services Support Specialist provides direct services to students and their families and assists in the removal of social emotional barriers which impede academic success.
This is a grant-funded position through the end of the 2022-2023 school year, based on funding availability.
Eligible candidates must have a master’s degree in either mental health counseling, social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. State of Florida certification is not required for this position.
