Description
Lumen Scholar Institute is an online charter school located in Orem, Utah, is now accepting applications for a full-time Science Teacher for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. The hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Lumen provides our students with a high level of engagement and support from our teachers and staff. The majority of instruction is done live in a virtual classroom with periodic in-person learning activities and social experiences.
Teaching positions are remote, however, teachers are required to attend in-person student activities and employee meetings as State and Health Department guidelines permit. The remote workspace must be approved by the school to ensure limited viewing of the teacher's personal space. Technology equipment is provided by the school. Teachers must have a dedicated workspace in order to leave the equipment set up and avoid interruptions during the workday.
