DEFINITION: Under the direction of the Purchasing Supervisor, receives, distributes and stocks various warehouse for Sunnyside Unified School District.

Receives and processes items and supplies that come in from vendors; communicates with vendors regarding damaged shipments or other problems that have occurred; Loads and unloads trucks for deliveries to schools and central departments as needed; processes returns of materials through various shipping agencies; inspects vehicles and equipment to comply with ADOT & OSHA regulations; performs clerical duties such as answering phones; maintaining files; and computer related receiving and assists property control with fixed asset tagging and helps to prepare and organize items for surplus materials disposal.
Stocks warehouse with incoming supplies; cleans, maintains, and organizes warehouse and warehouse office; and performs related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of District policies and procedures.
Knowledge of tracking and maintaining inventory supplies.
Knowledge of safety procedures for the operation of equipment.
Knowledge of maintaining reports and paperwork.
Skill in lifting heavy objects or supplies.
Skill in operating a forklift or other equipment.
Skill in following oral and written instructions.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments. Work requires frequent driving, walking, standing, sitting, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to moving equipment, extreme weather conditions and toxic fumes and chemicals. 
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent, and three (3) years experience working in a warehouse. Must possess an Arizona driver license and a CDL license along with forklift certification. Additional certifications may also be required as specified by the District.
Depending on the needs of the District, some incumbents in this class must be able to demonstrate fluency in both Spanish and English as a condition of employment.

Salary Grade:  9         Hourly Pay:  $13.94            Hours per Day:  8             Days in Contract:  260     Start Date: 2022/2023 School Year
