The license status must be active. Expired certifications will be considered.

Assistant Principal Job Description At Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts (SLSPA) the Assistant Principal is a performing arts/administrative professional responsible for assisting in the overall academic and performing arts programs, with direct responsibilities over managing the overall growth and operational aspects of SLSPA. Job Duties Job duties may include, but not limited to, the following: * Manage SLSPA academic activities through its SLCSD relationship, Individual Learning Program, and/or other online academic programs. Duties include designing measurement systems and monitoring student academic progress * Manage and monitor SLSPA's compliance and reporting activities and requirements * Direct management of administrative staff * Primary liaison to SLCSD District and outside partners related to SLSPA Charter and related contractual relationships * Direct responsibility over facilities management, including liaison with SLCSD property management resources * HR and Benefit management responsibilities, liaison with SLSPA business manager, outside contractor, and SLCSD resources * Direct management of fundraising, student acquisition/retention programs, and website development and maintenance * Direct responsibility with organizing and scheduling outside performing arts competitions and events, coordinating with SLSPA Artistic Director * Participate as a key member of SLSPA Director's senior team, including Director, Artistic Director, Head Counselor, and Performing Arts Department Heads * Other duties as assigned by the Director.
