High School Teacher - Learning Lab
Description
High School Learning Lab Teacher—English OR Social Studies endorsement
The WJCC Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is a small, non-traditional setting for WJCC high school students who are not finding success in the traditional setting for a variety of reasons. Students continue working toward graduation requirements by taking online courses with the support of two teacher facilitators. The teacher facilitators are also the teachers of record for the online courses within their content areas. The teacher facilitators must maintain ongoing communication with the students’ home high schools, fellow online teachers and families throughout the semester. For courses that require end of course testing, the teacher facilitators prepare students for SOL tests during the division testing windows.
