Definition: Under general supervision of the Director of Finance performs work of routine difficulty
processing and delivering mail, documents, bank deposits and goods.

Tasks: Drive van to CFSD sites and deliver and pick up US mail, interdepartmental mail,
warehouse orders, purchase orders, and bank deposits. Drive to the Pima County Superintendent’s Office
and the Pima County Treasurer’s Office to deliver and pick up documents and checks. Take deposits to
the district’s local bank. Sort incoming mail and affix metered postage to outgoing US mail and deliver
to the appropriate post office. Act as back up for the Inventory Control Coordinator for vacations and
Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge of driving a van
Knowledge of geographical locations of district sites for sorting mail and performing routine deliveries and pick-ups
Knowledge of standard postal rates
Skill in effectively organizing work and delivery routes
Skill in using postage scale and meter
Skill in reading maps and locating sites for non-routine deliveries and pick-ups
Skill in safely operating a tractor with a forklift attachment (training provided), pallet jacks, pallet stackers, rolling ladders and hand trucks
Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and administrators
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED. Six months of experience as a courier or delivery driver preferred.
Valid Arizona Driver’s license and clean driving record. May be required to lift objects that exceed 25 pounds.
