School Counselor(s) - 4 positions available (VMS, UMS, EVE)

POSITION:  SCHOOL COUNSELOR – 4 positions available

(Eagle View Elementary, Uintah Middle School, Vernal Middle School)

• Evidence of a master’s degree, or proof of enrollment (or willingness to enroll) from an accredited institution with evidence of a school counseling endorsement
• Copy of Utah certification or a letter of eligibility from the Certification Office at the Utah State Office of Education, if applicable
• Evidence of ability to work effectively with children, parents, staff, and community by means of a minimum of three letters of recommendation
• Provision of undergraduate and graduate transcripts
• Completed application
• A Cover letter explaining clearly how you qualify/meet district expectations for the position

• Work to maintain the schools College and Career Readiness School Counseling Program
• Provide counseling services to students
• Work with diverse populations
• Assist students with individual educational and career planning
• Other duties as assigned
