Elementary School Assistant Principal - Cerbat
Must hold a certificate issued by Arizona State Department of Education.
The certificate must be in one of the following types: Principal Certificate; PreK-12, Interim Principal Certificate; PreK-12.
The certificate position area must be in Assistant Principal.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.
Kingman Unified School District is seeking an assistant principal for the 2022-23 school year at Cerbat Elementary School in Kingman, Arizona.
Responsible for providing assistance to the Principal in the administration of instructional leadership to staff including: curriculum planning, review and implementation; and professional development. Responsible for day-to-day building administration and the safety and welfare of students, staff and activities. Ensures a safe, pleasant and effective educational atmosphere.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position, contracted for 164 days. This position is eligible for health benefits.
Required Education and Experience
Master's Degree in Education or more advanced degree Five or more years of teaching experience Required Certifications/Licenses
Arizona Standard Professional Principal, PreKindergarten-12 Certificate Valid driver's license
Preferred Education and Experience
Administrative experience in a school environment
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass a criminal history check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
