The Reporting Lead Analyst will:

Ensure quality IT services are delivered to both operational and instructional areas of the division. Support and lead various departments through the creation and modification of user defined and customized reports from various data stores using SQL, SSRS, and Excel; especially in support of state and federal reporting mandates Be responsible for the creation of middleware necessary to bridge division applications and databases. Participate in activities to define, develop, test, analyze, maintain and support new software applications to include coding, testing, supporting and analyzing available software solutions. Manage enterprise applications and databases Use industry standard methodologies Interact positively with vendors to resolve identified issues Assist/lead distribution/rollout processes for application programs, databases, and updates Effectively assist/lead simultaneous projects with established deadlines. Assists in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of software and SQL databases Provide accurate and reasonable timelines for assigned projects Document procedures and guidelines and archive all developed code, applications and documentation on designated file share Provide training formally and informally to customers Perform other duties as assigned

Ad-Hoc Report and List Development – Designs reports, lists and graphs to provide in-depth comparisons of data elements from related but disparate data stores. Assists end users through the design of clear, descriptive and easy to understand reports. Designs queries, macros and programs to manage, adjust or correct database records per the request of responsible personnel. Support - Supports designated enterprise applications including online registration, message notification, student information, financial accounting, web content management and other systems as assigned. Planning - Provides estimates for assigned tasks. Complies with logical and physical security policies, processes, and practices Build - Translates detailed specifications/functional requirements into structured applications programs, scripts, network solutions, or requirements for package selection. Follows established process / procedures for installation. Execution - Must be a “self-starter.” Investigates and resolves problems, with direction, as they occur. Understands that applications/technologies have a certain priority in which they have to be resolved. Performance Effectiveness - Understands quality standards for own work and checks own work. Documentation - Documents all processes and ensures all applications are backed up and operate from a server-based system. Project Management - Identifies and communicates the need for resources for tasks or areas assigned. Adheres to established processes and standards. Monitors progress of tasks against plan, and reports status to appropriate people on project issues. Organizational Effectiveness - Understands IT impact to the business, and the purpose and process of operating plans. Customer Relations - Understands and follows internal processes to respond to customer needs. Suggests improvements or issues with processes. Answers all inquiries on a timely basis. Communication - Writes clearly. Speaks clearly and professionally in all verbal communications, one on one, or in small groups. Consistently shares ideas during meetings in a collegial manner. Chooses the appropriate time and place to deliver a message based on subject matter and the audience, (e.g. work topic with team, confidential topic with supervisor, etc.). Experience preferred with:

Microsoft SQL Relational database design concepts Report writing software (preferably SSRS) Program analysis and documentation Testing concepts Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook and Word Office 365 Program Management
