Under the direction of the Operations Program Manager, this position supervises the day-to-day operations, asset management and staffing of the Transportation operation to ensure ADOT standards, ASDB policies and procedures, Federal and State laws regulation student transportation are followed to ensure student and staff safety.
Monitoring the transportation budget to ensure funds are properly utilized and implement organizational objectives as defined by leadership. Collecting and managing data for performance improvement of activities that impact safety, cost effectiveness and service.
Training staff in policies and procedures, ensuring compliance of staff members and activities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or combination of work-related education, knowledge, and skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years related experience and/or training
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • Recent bus driver experience
  • Intervention Training
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Must be able to pass FBI and State background check or Fingerprint Clearance Card as position requires by policy or Statute.
  • Defensive Driver Training program to be completed by all agency personnel that drive on State business
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License P&S Endorsement or the ability to obtain on within 6 months
