High School English Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Virginia Teacher License with the appropriate endorsement(s) Must be knowledgeable of the development of adolescents Must be knowledgeable of the Virginia Standards of Learning Must have completed the eight Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel. Must be able to integrate technology into classroom instruction Must have and communicate high expectations for student achievement Must maintain frequent communications with parents regarding student achievement Must be able to demonstrate effective classroom management skills PERFORMANCE GOAL: Provide outstanding instruction in the specific content area, with resulting high achievement by students.
