Mental Health Coordinator 2022-2023
The Department of Mental Health Services is seeking candidates for the following positions: Mental Health Coordinators who will support schools in addressing student mental health concerns. Mental Health Coordinators will assist and support students and families with social, emotional, and mental health needs to enhance and maximize student success. Additionally, they will provide evidence-based practices including risk and threat assessments and identify and assess the need for further services. They will support rapid identification of students in need of mental health evaluations and work in collaboration with school site staff and community-based agencies to coordinate services to meet the mental health needs of students. This position requires a master’s degree (and licensing is preferred) in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, school counseling, or any other related area.
