Library Media Specialist
Must hold a certificate issued by any agency.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Agriculture, Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, CTE (General), Culinary Arts / Food Preparation, Drafting/CAD, Driver Education, Family & Consumer Sciences (Home Econ), Health Occupations, Hospitality and Tourism, JROTC, Multimedia, Nutritionist, Outdoor Education, Technology Education (Industrial Arts), Trades and Industry, English, Journalism, Reading, Reading Specialist, Reading/Language Arts, Generalist/Integrated Curriculum, Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Mathematics III, Media Specialist/Librarian, Biology/Life Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Science (General), Space Science.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active.

We are seeking a Library Media Specialist to join our dedicated and caring teaching family. The teacher is responsible for the educational leadership of students in a group or class in an innovative charter school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Understands central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structure of Library and Media Services. Develops a climate and culture of openness, fairness, mutual respect, support and inquiry. Engages every student in grade level appropriate learning experiences that promote performance. Listens and interacts effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and community members, respecting diverse perspectives. Demonstrates respect for students, colleagues, administrators, and parents. Works effectively with school colleagues, parents, and the community to support students’ learning and well-being. Uses teaching and learning strategies that reflect each student’s culture, learning styles, special needs, and socioeconomic background.
