Salary Range: $76,627 - $109,718

Broward County Public Schools’ (BCPS) Information & Technology Department is seeking dynamic individuals who will commit to using their technology and leadership abilities to research, design, implement, monitor, and manage information technology solutions to improve student achievement and operational efficiencies, while realizing the department’s Vision of “Technology, enabling learning for all – any time, any place.”
We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst for the Technical Support Services Department able to demonstrate: * An advanced knowledge of a variety of networking technologies including core services, WAN, WLAN and LAN networks. * The ability to maintain firewall, virtual private network, web, and email security programs, protocols, and security. * The ability to monitor and report on network performance and activity. * The ability to lead a team and supervise network operations activities. * The ability to perform network technology design and architecture reviews. * A solid understanding of network-based security attack vectors and remediation techniques. * Familiarity with currently deployed network systems including Cisco switching, HP switching, Fortinet NGFW, F5 Load Balancer, PeerApp Network Optimization, InfoBlox, IPAM/DNS.
This position reports to the Director of Technical Support Services.
