Indian River Charter High School is accepting resumes for consideration in all subjects, including unique specialized programs (animation, engineering, business, etc. SURPRISE US!) Resumes will be retained and reviewed as positions become available and specific school needs arise.
IRCHS is a non-traditional charter high school with a mission to develop character, citizenship, cultural awareness, and academic excellence. We offer a comprehensive Visual and Performing Arts program; honors, dual-enrollment, and advanced placement coursework; high expectations for student behavior; and a unique, innovative thematic curriculum.
Currently, IRCHS is rated an “A” school by Florida’s School Rating System and has been the highest-rated high school in Indian River County for the past 18 years. Students accept a great deal of responsibility within the school environment, from the open campus to Homebase expectations, and participation in community projects such as; cultural events, government meetings, and volunteer activities. Each student is expected to follow a 7 point behavior contract in order to remain a student. IRCHS participates in random drug testing for all students, staff, and board members.
