Pay Rate: $34,266 - $65,597

Incentives: Signing Bonus: $1500 for New Certified Staff Members.
Moving Expenses: $1500 for Certified Staff Members from outside of Arizona.
• Provide quality instruction to students
• Prepare daily lesson plans
• Evaluate student’s skills to determine the best program of learning
• Write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP)
• All other duties as assigned

• State of Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement for each position (Teacher O&M requires ACVREP Certification in lieu of ADE certification)
• Secondary teaching positions must possess the necessary coursework as required by Department of Education.
• Must be able to pass FBI and State background check

  • The online class facilitator will support online learning by monitoring students’ progress of learning, assisting and clarifying language in subject areas and become a liaison between the online teacher, students at PDSD and EdOptions. The teacher is expected to manage technology and assist in developing IEPs.
  • facilitate the Learning Lab through expansion in ASL, visuals, working with Ed Options to modify content as needed, etc;
  • have good organizational and management skills;
  • be able to multitask with each class running anywhere from 3-10 different courses at the same time;
  • follow and support the curriculum that is computer based by Ed Options;
  • ensure that the students work through the lessons, quizzes, tests and essays as designed by Ed Options;
  • ensure the lab environment is organized and managed to promote optimal student learning;
  • assist students with logging on, keeping track and following the computer based program;
  • manage the online system of Ed Options;
  • work collaboratively with Ed Options and the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instructional Support.
