STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT STRATEGIST
This position will assist teachers and schools in identifying and implementing strategies that will increase student achievement, which will involve instructional coaching, professional development organizing, core-subject knowledge teaching, data-use training, and technology tools training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a valid AZ teachers’ certificate
- Five years teaching experience
- Experience with diverse student populations
- Knowledge and experience in Scientifically Based Research (SBR) instructional strategies and programs
- Knowledge of blended learning models, preferred
- Experience using a variety of technological tools, preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with all staff
- Experience in successful school turnaround efforts, preferred
- Experience in Data Analytics, preferred
- Collaborate with teachers and principal in identifying instructional and solution strategies that will accelerate student achievement
- Provide “real time” instructional coaching and other professional development to enhance teacher’s content knowledge and effective use of instructional strategies.
- Engage with teachers to use student data to develop rigorous lesson plans and to differentiate instruction for various level student groups
- Monitor and demonstrate how to align instructional materials, district curriculum and the AZ College and Career Readiness Standards
- Research and identify Best Practices for differentiating instructional strategies to support interventions
- Coach teachers to effectively integrate technology and use the appropriate blended learning model
- Guide teachers to effectively use district’s on-line assessments and data to inform their instruction
- Provide expertise training to new and all teachers in assigned areas and levels
- Other duties as assigned
SALARY: Certified Salary Schedule
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 11 months
