Manager of School Office
Utah Connections Academy (UCA) is a tuition-free, online public school that serves students in grades K–12 throughout Utah. UCA is authorized under state law by the Utah State Charter School Board and governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school is operated by Utah Connections Academy, a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Academy of Utah, LLC, to provide its educational program and other services. UCA is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission, an accrediting division of AdvancED.

Summary and Responsibilities
Working from our office in Salt Lake City, Utah, the School Office Manager is responsible for managing a team of administrative assistants and working directly with the school leadership team on daily administrative tasks such as entering data into the school or district systems.
Working directly with CA Facilities and local Property Manager Maintaining and updating Office Emergency Plan Manage administrative assistants who report to the office and work remotely Oversee the daily work of the office team, including, but not limited to records management, coordinating event logistics, enrollment tasks, withdrawal processing, processing transcript requests, receiving and sending student portfolios, handling incoming and outgoing mail etc. Entering data into various school and district information systems Maintain accurate employee records both onsite and in school operating systems Conduct data quality reviews of data housed in school SIS – as needed, make necessary corrections Attend monthly USBE Aspire User Group Meetings and Data Meetings Ensure that all UTREx uploads and reports are submitted by the USBE mandated deadlines Train and support administrative assistants in their roles Create and update school Standard Operating Procedures Assist School Leadership Team as needed with daily tasks and projects Assist families and school stakeholders with questions both on the phone and in the office Serve as a member of the school State Testing Team and assist with testing preparation tasks Serve as site administrator as needed Additional duties as assigned
