Description

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:  Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program
EXPERIENCE:  A minimum four (4) years of experience in a Bookkeeper or Budgetkeeper position in the Broward County School District or in a related work assignment which would provide a background in the field.
OR
EDUCATION:  An earned Associate's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business administration or other field related to the title of the position.
EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Bookkeeper or Budgetkeeper position in the Broward County School District or in a related work assignment which would provide a background in the field.
Additional Requirements - Must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of micro and minicomputers used in the school system.  Ability to use judgment to analyze facts and circumstances surrounding problems or transactions and to determine actions to be taken within the limits of standard practice. Bilingual skills preferred.  Computer skills as required for the position.
NOTE: This position will be advertised until filled. 
 
Salary Range: $37,019 - $56,749
