Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 3), Secondary Education (6-12) (ARL), Secondary (APT only) (Level 3).
The license status must be active.
Applications are now being accepted for a full-time Secondary Interventionist in the Logan City School District for the 2021-2022 school year. This educator will teach study skills classes, and provide support and intervention to students who are not on track to graduate. Applicants must hold a current secondary professional educator license. •Administers developmental testing programs, subject specific assessments, etc. for the purpose of assessing student competency levels and/or developing individual learning plans. •Adapts classroom work for the purpose of providing students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans within established lesson plans. •Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress for the purpose of communicating expectations; student's achievements; developing methods for improvement and/or reinforcing classroom goals in the home environment. •Assesses student progress towards objectives, expectations, and/or goals for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents and administration. •Collaborates with instructional staff, other school personnel, parents, and a variety of community resources for the purpose of improving the overall quality of student outcomes and achieving established classroom objectives in support of the school improvement plan. •Counsels students for the purpose of improving performance. •Demonstrates methods required to perform classroom and/or subject specific assignments for the purpose of providing an effective program that addresses individual student requirements.
