JOB DESCRIPTION
 
 
TITLE: Contact Tracer (7.5 hours per day / 190 days)
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To receive reports of persons suspected or confirmed as having COVID-19 and interviewing them to gather necessary information.  This role involves educating patients and people who have come in contact with the COVID-19 disease, signs, symptoms, and precautions that should be taken during this time.  It involves completing reports and coordinating with the health department.  This is an onsite position.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  1. Interviewing confirmed individuals and asking relevant questions.
  2. Contacting everyone that has been in close contact with that patient and educating them on signs, symptoms, and procedures to follow.
  3. Accurately recording all information into database.
  4. Maintain confidentiality in a school setting.
  5. Communicating with the Health Department.
  6. Additional tasks as needed
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  1. Healthcare experience or Customer Service experience
  2. Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
  3. Accurate typing skills required
  4. Reliable and dependable personality
  5. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  6. Demonstrated ability to multi-task
 
 
 
REPORTS TO:  Deputy Superintendent
 
 
 
 
EVALUATION: Performance on the job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of classified personnel.
