Position Summary: The Electric Lead for the electric shop is expected to provide prompt quality service to every school every day. Provide a variety of tasks necessary to maintain the district's electrical equipment. Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions and follow all safety requirements. Must report day-to-day operations to shop foreperson, report and track material costs and maintain a daily time sheet. The Lead will assume responsibilities of the Electric Foreperson in their absence and will assign tasks/ work orders to the employees and specify methods to coordinate the workflow to facilitate completion of all jobs.The primary focus for the Electric Lead is to assist with the supervision of the electric shop that focuses on the repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment. In addition, this position will require various other tasks assigned including but not limited to other Facilities related tasks. This will also include overseeing and training of electrical technicians to ensure timely repairs on all equipment used in day-to-day operations all district sites for Tulsa Public Schools. This position will require physical labor and may include working with outside contractors and vendors for new installation and replacement of electric parts and equipment. This will also include working with other Maintenance shops for specialized project work throughout the school district. This position will also require the employee to perform other related facilities and maintenance duties as assigned by their supervisor.
