Mountain Ridge High School Intervention Teacher Specialist
Must hold a license issued by any agency.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Business Administration, English, Reading Specialist, Spanish, Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Mathematics III, Band, Chorus/Vocal, Music (General), Music Therapy, Orchestra, Health, Physical Education, Biology/Life Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Science (General), Space Science, Economics, Geography, History - US, History - World, Humanities, Jewish Studies, Philosophy, Political Science/Government, Psychology, Religion, Social Studies (General), Sociology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 10th, 11th, 12th.
Intervention teacher specialist position available for the upcoming school year. Ability to run an intervention program. Supervise I.S.S., track struggling students, help, teach and remidate students, plan and coorinate with counselors and administrators and work to help improve student attendance and behavior. Meet the needs of the school climate and culture. School Counseling License or Secondary Educstion License any content endorsement area.
The classroom teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning environment where students develop the skills to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, lifelong learners and productive citizens. Teachers maintain a safe environment: establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues:motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge that will help them reach their potential and be prepared for higher levels of education and career readiness.
