SPED Behavior/Transition Interventionist
This position is a Special Education position for a Behavior Interventionist who can provide support, monitor, and train using behavior management techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem solving for students with behavioral challenges. In addition, coordinating transition services for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities by working with school teams to identify and help families access school and community resources and coordinate school to work initiatives district wide.
Requirements: Knowledge of special educations procedures and rules, knowledge of behavioral interventions and strategies, ability to coordinate with teachers and students and create a process for developing behavior plans, knowledge of post secondary transition needs and services for individuals with disabilities. Must have a Master's degree in social work or related education field. Experience in behavioral interventions and/or education is preferred
