AFTER SCHOOL SITE COORDINATOR – MIDDLE SCHOOL
Exempt Position
Annual Stipend: $5,100 (no AM Study Hall) - $5,400 (with AM Study Hall)
10 Months, Part Time
Mon - Fri 2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Definition:
Under general supervision of the Grade 6-12 Educational Extension Program Director, performs work of moderate difficulty developing, planning and coordinating middle school after-school enrichment programs.
Essential Functions:

Tasks:
- Develop, plan and coordinate all aspects of a middle school before and after-school enrichment program.
- Recruit and train instructors.
- Process instructor contracts.
- Organize and schedule classes for the school year.
- Coordinate physical resources.
- Develop and implement student attendance tracking procedures.
- Develop content for class brochures and distribute completed brochures.
- Accept and transmit fee payments.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
- Knowledge of approved CFSD middle school level curriculum.
- Knowledge of middle school level educational program design.
- Knowledge of CFSD policies and procedures regarding student program eligibility and registration.
- Knowledge of recruiting and retaining instructors.
- Skill in developing, implementing and coordinating middle school level after school programs.
- Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, administrators, students, parents, volunteers and the general public.
- Ability to work independently.
- Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
- Two years of experience working with children in 6th through 8th grade and developing, implementing and coordinating out of school time programming classes preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred and strong leadership skills.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Level One - IVPP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (will provide if candidate does not hold certification at the time of hire)
