Building Trades: This course prepares the individual to apply and demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and skills in various types of construction. This lab based course will provide the students an opportunity to participate in the planning, design and completion of project based activities. i.e. electrical, masonry/brick laying, concrete finishing, HVAC, plumbing, floor systems, wall and ceiling framing, site layout, interior and exterior finish and roof applications.

Industrial Technology: This foundation course will prepare students to use a wide variety of construction tools and equipment and maintain a safe work environment. Salome High School is a small rural school that covers over 3,800 square miles in Western Arizona. We are located about 60 miles west of the Greater Phoenix Area and about 60 miles from the Arizona/California border. Teaching in a small school like Salome, you are able to teach to your passions in your classroom. Class sizes are relatively small, and as long as you are teaching to the standards, you will have flexibility in what you teach and how you teach it.
