Job Description The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) invites you to consider a challenging and diverse employment opportunity with our school. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to fill the position of Deaf-Blind Teacher Specialist located in Salt Lake City.

Principal Duties As a Deaf-Blind Teacher Specialist you will: Plan learning experiences for young children and students who are deaf-blind, ages birth-22, based on State standards. Develop IEP of IFSP goals and objectives based on assessment Create an environment that is conducive to learning Consults with and provides training and technical assistance to those involved in the education of young children and students who are deaf-blind. Participation in training activities to help others see and understand the impacts of deaf-blindness for children and youth. Supervise Interveners.
