HIGH SCHOOL VICE-PRINCIPAL
The Oak Ridge School system seeks a Vice Principal for Oak Ridge High School. ORHS presently has over 1350 students in grades 9-12. This 12 month position reports to the Principal of ORHS.
The Vice Principal performs professional and administrative work assisting the Principal in the coordination, supervision and management of the school.
In cooperation with other members of the administrative, guidance, and teaching staff, the Vice-Principal will assist in the overall administration of the school. Specifically, the Vice-Principal will help oversee the development and administration of certain curriculum programs, assist in the observation and evaluation of instructional teaching staff, facilitate school-wide testing programs, address student discipline, and assist with general administrative duties. In addition, the Vice-Principal will play a pivotal role in overseeing RTI2 and RTI2B programs, as well work with the special education department.
Master's degree and Tennessee Teaching License with appropriate administrative licensure required.
Residency in Oak Ridge is required.
