DEFINITION: Under general supervision, plans, organizes and maintains student enrollment records for Sunnyside Unified School District.

Accepts applications for potential new candidate enrollments; enrolls students and requests transcripts from former schools when applicable; maintains student data and updates student files; provides information for reference checks; oversees the withdrawal process including the typing of files and delivering of files to teachers, may notarize documents for parents, students, and staff.
Reviews academic records to ensure academic goals are met; compiles graduation lists and assists in the ordering and printing of diplomas; computes and posts grade point averages and student rankings; translates, types, and distributes transcripts as requested; provides clear and concise information to school districts and outside agencies; performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
Knowledge of District policies and procedures.
Knowledge of District Educational Planning Guide.
Knowledge of graduation requirements.
Knowledge of the District enrollment code manual.
Knowledge of accurate and efficient record keeping.
Skill in preparing letters and reports.
Skill in following oral and written instructions.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in an indoor environment. Work requires frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting, repetitive motion and lifting up to 20 pounds.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Must possess an Arizona driver license.
Additional certifications may also be required as specified by the District.
Depending on the needs of the District, some incumbents in this class must be able to demonstrate fluency in both Spanish and English as a condition of employment.
Salary Grade: 10 Hourly Pay: $12.15 Hours per Day: 8 Days in Contract: 260 Start Date: 2020/2021 School Year
