One full time position, 184 contract days.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members (including family members of students) to provide behavior services in an ethical manner that reflects current evidence-based practice in the field of applied behavior analysis • Conduct behavior observations of students and the classroom environment • Complete functional behavior assessments for referred students, including completing documentation of assessment results and facilitating team meetings to discuss results • Generate function-based behavior intervention plans that align with assessment results and evidence-based practice • Provide team members with intervention materials and progress monitoring strategies as needed in accordance with a student's behavior intervention plan • Assist team members with writing student behavior goals and conducting data collection • Capture/graph behavior data to monitor/share progress with team members and facilitate ongoing data-based decision making • Attend team meetings as scheduled • Conduct trainings for team members as needed in areas such as principles of applied behavior analysis, classroom management , and positive behavior interventions and support • Provide training and coaching for team members involved in implementation of student behavior intervention plans • Maintain knowledge of current research and policy in applied behavior analysis and special education
Requirements: A valid Utah Level 2 Special Education License K-12, School Psychologist License, or an equivalent license that would qualify to provide the required services is required.
Salary: Based on the 2020-2021 Licensed Salary Schedule $51,775 - $68,924 depending on related experience. Insurance and retirement benefits.
