Support- Position- ECC Site Director

Oak Ridge Schools Extended Childcare is now hiring Site Director for the upcoming school year. Our Site Directors are responsible for managing the site in which they are assigned. This is a full time, split-shift position. Hours are M-F 6:30a- 9:30a and 1:30p- 6:00p, and Wednesday 12:30p- 6:00p. ECC operates for Fall and Spring break as well as Summer Camp. Hours will vary during school breaks. Job will begin July 19, 2021. Pay will be based on experience.


Job Description:

• Interacts with students
• Writing receipts and creating deposit forms
• Maintaining areas ECC uses
• Directing staff
• Maintaining computer data for parent statements
• Planning and implementing student activities 
• Reports to Director
• Other duties as directed

Qualifications: (minimum education,licensure, and or/ experience)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of Childcare Experience, Management experience a plus
• Extended Childcare Site Management Certificate (able to obtain within 1 year of employment)
• CPR/First Aid Certified ( able to obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Must enjoy working with elementary age children
• Must be dependable
• Able to stand for periods of time
• Have a great communication skills and work well with others
• Must be organized
• Must be able to take directions

Physical Requirements:

• Bending and stooping
• Sitting in floor
• Occasional lifting
• Extended standing
• Able to tolerate outdoor conditions

Salary Range: $23, 061.31- $27, 212.34
