Speech & Language pathologist
Must hold a license issued by Virginia Department of Education.
The license must be in Postgraduate Professional License.
The license position area must be in Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Preschool/Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
-provide early education speech screening -provide speech & language evaluations -conduct hearing assessments provide speech therapy -participate in child-study & eligibility meetings -other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education -demonstrates professional, moral & ethical standards as well as personal integrity in all interactions -possess good physical & mental health& personal qualities which build confidence of pupils, parents, & school staff - other such qualifications that the school board might accept in lieu of any of the above
