Monticello is currently accepting resumes for an Elementary School Art Teacher (Grades K-6).
We are looking for applicants who are passionate about student learning, collaboration, and using data to guide instruction.
Curriculum: -Core Knowledge Visual Art
Job Description: -Create and implement grade appropriate/engaging core knowledge lessons -Implement a strong/positive class management system -Collaborate with general education and special education teachers -Collect and use student data -Assess students formally and informally using a variety of methods/tools -Submit grades to mastery connect -Communicate effectively with other teachers, administrators, and parents -Conduct parent/student conferences as needed
