Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 1), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in Physical Education.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
City Academy, a 7th – 12th grade charter school in downtown Salt Lake City, is searching for a secondary PE teacher. We are looking for a dedicated, creative and enthusiastic candidate who can teach PE classes that help students build fit and healthy lifestyles, as well as focus on teaching the skills and dispositions needed to participate in sports activities. We are searching for teachers who also contribute to the life of the school as coaches. Preference will be given to teachers with experience and with certification and appropriate endorsements.
