Full Time Business & Marketing Teacher
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Management, Marketing/Sales, CTE (General), Technology Education (Industrial Arts).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
The vision of East Hollywood High School is to be a safe place where film and individualized education help students discover and realize their life goals. We serve a population of students who often felt they did not fit in at the traditional high schools. Many of our students are at-risk. We are looking for a full time Business and Marketing teacher who has a passion for working with at-risk youth. We are a public charter high school in the SLC area and this position includes a full benefit package including Utah Retirement System.
East Hollywood High School is public charter school located in West Valley City, Utah. The mission of the school is to serve students who can be considered "at-risk" of not graduating from high school by providing an engaging program centered around film production. While the majority of our electives are related to film and the arts, the core classes we offer are fairly traditional and an understanding of film-making is not necessary.
East Hollywood High School is seeking a full time Business & Marketing Teacher who is licensed in the State of Utah. Because of the population we serve, we are looking for someone who has a passion for working with "at-risk" youth and strong skills in differentiated instruction and restorative justice practices. We are a small school serving about 330 students.
Our teachers are a close team of supportive individuals. We truly care about each other. Staff retention is a priority of the administration. We offer staff free group counseling with a licensed therapist to prevent staff burnout. We are a state charter school so we don't answer to a district.
