Description
Works with students with various academic levels. Creates and maintains a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability level of the student. Plans a program of learning experiences that will assist in achieving SOL skill development and progression for students in all of the areas of Social Studies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Instructs students in SOL objectives commensurate with curriculum and pacing guides. Works in collaboration with staff and teachers. Maintains accurate and complete records as required. Complies with and enforces school rules and school board policies and procedures. Attends and participates in faculty meetings and serves on committees as appropriate. Performs other school duties and assignments as appointed.
