Hawthorn Academy, a free charter school located in South Jordan, Utah, is now accepting applications for a Kitchen Manager. This position will work 25-34 hours per week (including benefits) and will oversee a team of 5-6 members.
The main purpose is to lead the kitchen staff in performing all food preparation and serving activities in a timely, sanitary and orderly manner. Oversees and helps kitchen staff prepare a variety of food items for daily lunch program. Oversees cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen equipment. Follows strict hygiene practices for themselves and the entire kitchen staff. Must be capable of consistent physical activity (lifting and moving up to 50 pounds). Must be able to write, type, and comprehend all information needed to complete daily tasks. Kitchen Manager reports directly to the Kitchen Director.
