Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 1), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 3), Secondary Education (6-12) (ARL).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

Description

American Leadership Academy is seeking candidates that will: Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities according to established PLC policies and norms. • Follow established curriculum maps and work with PLC team to revise as needed. • Assist in developing and administer common formative and summative assessments. • Utilize data from assessments to drive instruction and provide RTI within the UMTSS framework. • Develop lessons plans and tasks/assignments that will ensure proficiency of Utah Core Standards. • Demonstrate and supervise the safe and proper use of equipment necessary for math education. • Monitor students' progress, assign tasks, and grade assignments in a timely manner. • Discuss students' progress with parents, students, counselors, administrators, and PLC team on a regular basis. • Implement and enforce classroom rules and safety procedures. • Meet expectations as assigned by administration.

Meet expectations as assigned by administration. ? Familiarity and willingness to utilize technology in the classroom.
