Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Special Education (K-12+) (Level 1), Special Education (K-12+) (Level 2), Special Education (K-12+) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Special Education (General).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active.

SALT LAKE SCHOOL FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS (SLSPA) is a fully accredited, tuition-free, public charter high school located in the heart of Salt Lake City, where students grade 9-12 receive rigorous training in Dance, Media Arts, Music, and Theatre. SLSPA has a unique partnership with Salt Lake School District and Highland High School (HHS).
This teacher/case manager will work with mild to moderate special education students in a high school setting. This individual will need to have knowledge of the IEP process, have solid time management skills, the ability to coordinate with multiple schools/agencies in providing Special Education services at a Performing Arts Charter School. Students attending Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts come from a diverse background. Teachers are often professional performers actively engaged in their fields in addition to being exceptional teachers.
