Assistant Principal I, Term of Project (TOP)
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Administrative/Supervisory (K-12) (Level 1), Administrative/Supervisory (K-12) (Level 2), Administrative/Supervisory (K-12) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in Assistant Principal.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active.
Working from the Utah Connections Academy office, the Assistant Principal will work collaboratively with the Principal. The Assistant Principal will help manage all of the site-based school operations. Additionally, this individual will work closely with key centralized service centers including School Support, Enrollment, Technical Support, Materials Management, Fulfillment, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll and Facilities Management. It is also anticipated that this individual will manage a range of special projects and duties, including all state-mandated protocols for high schools in the state of Utah.
TOP: Based on potential student enrollment changes, this position is anticipated to work until the end of the 2020-2021 school year as a full time Assistant Principal. At that time, the school and department leadership will evaluate the status of this position and could extend it for the following school year if they deem it necessary.
