K-8 School Counselor
Must hold a certificate issued by Arizona State Department of Education.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Title I, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Counselor/Guidance.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th.
The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Toltec is a small, culturally diverse district and serves students in a close-knit community in sunny Arizona. The district is conveniently nestled halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, and is approximately 45 minutes from each of those cities.

The counselor is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program for all students at the site, which aligns with the district and school’s mission to promote academic, social/emotional, and college/career development, while ensuring equity and access for all students.

Salary Range The hiring range for external candidates will begin at $45,500 based on experience.
