Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: School Counselor (K-12) (Level 1), School Counselor (K-12) (Level 2), School Counselor (K-12) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in Counselor/Guidance.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th.
The license status must be active.
Meet with students, parents, and guardians to provide guidance and support toward achieving school success Conduct Plan for College and Career Readiness conferences in individual or small group settings to help students develop goals and understand course options for jr. high and high school in preparation for college and career Teach Career Development Application counselor lessons in the 7th grade College and Career Awareness class Collaborate guidance curriculum with teachers to meet academic, career, and social/emotional development needs of students Coordinate the schoolwide suicide and bullying prevention programs Handle course registration and scheduling Section 504 case management Provide or coordinate staff trainings in areas such as child abuse prevention, suicide prevention, bullying, and career development Maintain school counseling website Provide crisis counseling and referrals to appropriate community resources
