Custodian

PURPOSE
To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place to learn, play, and develop.

REPORT TO: Custodian Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep all buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean at all times
• Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition
• Cleans restrooms, classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas of the building
• Reports major repairs that are needed promptly
• Good attitude towards supervisor and colleagues
• Operate special equipment properly
• Knows and follows all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the job
• Attendance must be satisfactory 
• Perform any other work related duties as assigned

• High School Diploma 
• 1 year of experience

• Twelve-months
• Hourly Rate of Pay
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 60 lbs
